DYNAMIC BUSINESS COMMUNICATION

1) Inquiry in Action
2) Breakthrough Project Management
3) Communicating to Influence
INQUIRY IN ACTION
AUDIENCE
Executives, leaders, and managers, and employees that work on small or large project teams.
THE PROBLEM -- Our Ego, our Agendas, and our Assumptions get in the way and waste time resulting in lost opportunities for further business.
THE SOLUTION -- We will look at the power of asking questions and specifically look at a handful of professions that heavily rely on questioning to be successful in their roles. We will look at the inquiry as it relates to having difficult conversations and techniques to use to help display empathy and find resolution in the moment. We will use these techniques to plan for meetings and strategize around the context, relationship, and communication style of our client.
THE GOAL -- Creating deeper relationships with our clients, new insights into our client’s business, and becoming a more trusted advisor.
BREAKTHROUGH PROJECT MANAGEMENT
AUDIENCE
All employees that work on small or large projects, team members, leaders, and managers.
THE PROBLEM -- Missed deadlines, budget overruns, adding just one little thing, too many distractions, lack of a clear project scope, spec creep, constant change in motion, priority shifting, the "waiting game," managing without line authority and lack of accountability and ownership.
THE SOLUTION -- This course provides participants a common methodology, terminology, and tools that produce more efficient results and increase buy-in through improved visibility, reliability, and consistency.
THE GOAL -- To use real data - not just opinions - in your interactions with project sponsors and customers, to negotiate and set expectations for achievable results.
COMMUNICATING TO INFLUENCE
AUDIENCE
Executives, leaders, and managers, and employees that work on small or large project teams.
THE PROBLEM -- “Walking in the shoes” of our clients. Our success as a leader depends largely on how well we interact with each other and show empathy. Each interaction has the potential to work for, or against, achieving the most desirable effect and outcome.
THE SOLUTION -- Knowing how to communicate effectively in day-to-day interactions is a critical part in achieving personal – and professional – success. We will learn to appreciate that people have different communication styles and modify our communication approach in order to better manage a situation. We will clarify these unique behavioral differences and learn to identify them among our co-workers and clients.
THE GOAL -- Build on our personal communication strengths and minimize our weaknesses in order to be more effective in communicating and influencing others. To develop a communication strategy that will be effective in any situation or with anyone’s communication style. Understand the importance and significance of non-verbal signs. Lastly, create strategies for breaking down communication barriers and building strong relationships for better results at every level.

"JD Communication Strategies training is hands down the best public speaking course I have ever taken... and I've tried them all. Whether you come from a corporate background or a small to medium sized business, people of all ranks and titles will benefit from this course. Jared and his team succinctly and effectively breaks down the science and art of handling our biggest fear - speaking to groups of people. I highly recommend his proven method for both the novice and most advanced public speaking individuals."

“I've known Jared for more than five years, and was not surprised to see his professionalism in action. He was thoroughly prepared, engaging and knowledgeable and got everyone comfortably on their feet within minutes, with everyone's buy-in. The small group comprised both seasoned presenters and newbies. The environment was fun and supportive, with practical, timely and relevant feedback, along with useful collateral that included individual videos from each section of the workshop."
